Delivered with a fake accent that has been called, "some kind of British something, Scotch twang, or Smoker’s French, " Kentucky-born actor, Johnny Depp appeared at a drive-in movie in Glastonbury, England on Thursday to introduce his 2014 film The Libertine and talked about assassinating President Donald J. Trump.
“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” he asked, referencing John Wilkes Booth assassinating President Abraham Lincoln in 1865. Adding, “I want to clarify, I am not an actor. I lie for a living,” Depp said. “However, it has been a while and maybe it is time.”
During Depp's statement which he noted would “be in the press,” the group assembled laughed like zombies and showed their approval for his comments that are in fact considered a class E felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. The actor and musician also suggested violence against President Trump with Doc Marten boots and said, “I think he needs help and there are a lot of wonderful dark, dark places he could go.” Watch the full speech below.
A White House official has since released the following statement:
A United States Secret Service Official told reporters, "The Secret Service is aware of Mr. Depp’s comments. For operational security reasons, we do not discuss specifically or in general terms the means and methods of how we conduct our protective responsibilities.” Depp has since issued an apology.
Depp’s comments come a week after the politically-motivated shooting of Louisiana Rep. Steve Scales and are yet another example of the non-stop and carefully crafted weapons of propaganda infused with hatred and violence and that are in some cases subliminal calls to action being served up to the American people by Hollywood, mainstream media, and the music industry to weaken, demoralize and desensitize the population for what comes next.
Comedian Kathy Griffin's beheading of President Trump ISIS-style in a photoshoot, rapper Snoop Dogg's mock assassination of the President in his music video, Madonna's consideration to, "blow up The White House," and a production of “Julius Caesar” in New York City’s “Shakespeare in the Park” showing the Roman dictator, seemingly depicted as Trump, being brutally stabbed to death on stage are just a few examples.
