Wisconsin Equine Therapy Non-Profit to Raise Money and Awareness with Night of Food, Fun and Outdoor Concert from Guinness World Records Holder in Wisconsin Dells on July 6
Baraboo, Wis. - Scott Helmer is a singer, songwriter, musician, talk radio host and Guinness World Records holder for "Most Live Music Performances in 24 Hours (multiple cities)." Since 2012 his special fundraising concerts have helped raise more than $2 Million for good causes across America ranging from military veterans and their families, equine-assisted therapy, suicide prevention, first-responders, pet and animal rescues, food banks, historic places, special needs children and adults, and more.
On Saturday, July 6, 2019 the entertainer’s “One-Man Rock & Country Music Show” will make a stop at the Holiday Shores Resort in Wisconsin Dells to help support Baraboo River Equine-Assisted Therapies, Inc. (B.R.E.A.THE.), as part of his year long charity concert tour aimed at helping equine-assisted activity and therapy organizations across America raise money and awareness for their important work.
B.R.E.A.THE. is a Wisconsin non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization who’s mission is to provide equine-assisted activities and therapies to children and adults with special needs while supporting the physical, mental, and emotional health of each individual in their interaction with horses and staff.
Their programs help people from all backgrounds and all walks of life in a variety of ways, including increasing strength and flexibility, improving motor skills, promoting speech and cognitive reasoning, and building relationships. Learn more at their website.
Gates open at 5 pm, the concert starts at 7 pm and all ages are welcome. Here are the details:
WHERE: Holiday Shores Resort, 3901 River Road, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965
WHEN: Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 5 pm to 10 pm
COST: $14 Adult General Admission, $5 Child General Admission (5-12 years old), and kids 5 and under are free. ALL proceeds benefit Baraboo River Equine-Assisted Therapies.
Holiday Shores Resort offers lawn seating and guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
Picnic dinners are permitted or you may purchase food onsite.
No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the concert park. Beer and other beverages will be sold onsite.
