Founded by Suzy MacKenzie Eagle’s Nest Ranch is a safe haven for people and horses to interact in order to renew hope, build trust and experience growth, so they may soar above the adversities of life in order to fulfill the purpose for which they were created. This is achieved through love, acceptance, mentoring, training, education and recreational activities.
The 501c3 non-profit serves adults and children who have experienced or who are experiencing the invisible wounds of life. Their Healing Horses for the Armed Forces program serves the military community and Soaring program serves all others. The ranch also provides support for first-responders. “No matter what difficult or painful events we have experienced, there is always hope, says Founder, Suzy MacKenzie. Adding, “horses can help us regain what was lost.”
Eagle’s Nest Ranch provides one-on-one interactive sessions with a horse and sessions are offered free of charge. Relying on the generosity of others who see the value of their purpose the June 22 concert and celebration is also a fundraiser to help support their work.
