GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS HOLDER TO PERFORM LIVE IN CONCERT AT WRIGHT OPERA HOUSE
Scott Helmer’s “One-Man Rock & Country Music Show” Makes Stop in Ouray, Colorado on August 16
Ouray, Colo. - Scott Helmer is a singer, songwriter, musician, and Guinness World Records holder for "Most Live Music Performances in 24 Hours (multiple cities)." Since 2012 his special fundraising concerts have helped raise more than $2 Million for good causes across America ranging from military veterans and their families, equine-assisted therapy, suicide prevention, first responders, pet and animal rescues, food banks, historic places, special needs children and adults, and more.
Helmer has also opened for iconic acts like Heart, Eddie Money, 3 Doors Down, Jeff Bridges, Big Country and Eric Burdon & The Animals.
On Friday, August 16, 2019 the entertainer’s “One-Man Rock & Country Music Show” will make a stop at the historic Wright Opera House in Ouray, CO to help support the crowning jewel of the City and County of Ouray, which first opened its doors to the public on December 4, 1888 because Ed Wright and his wife, Letitia, believed that the populace of Ouray needed to be provided with cultural opportunities to offset the influence of the dance halls, saloons, gambling dens, and houses of ill repute. The entertainer’s show in Ouray is part of his 2019-2020 US concert tour which finds him performing primarily to help support equine-assisted therapy programs and centers across America.
These organizations utilize the combination of horses and humans to provide hope and healing to veterans, first responders, special needs children and adults and more. Helmer’s August 16 concert at Wright Opera House is also helping support a cause and community he believes in.
